Which Darija it handles
The model was fine-tuned on Algerian speech, so it reads the dialect rather than Modern Standard Arabic. A sentence that switches into French halfway through is read in one pass.
Numbers and French words are written out in Arabic script before synthesis, because that is all the model was trained on. Latin-script Darija is not supported, so write in Arabic script.

Which language does it speak?
Algerian Darija, the spoken Arabic of Algeria, coded arq in ISO 639-3. It is written in Arabic script and handles the French words Algerians mix into everyday speech.
What audio format do I get?
A mono WAV file at 24 kHz. You can download it from the Studio or fetch it from the URL the API returns.
How much does one clip cost?
A clip costs 1 token plus 1 per 50 characters, so 2 tokens for a short line and 13 for the longest allowed 600. A failed generation is refunded in full, and new accounts start with 100 free tokens.
How do I pay from Algeria?
In dinars, with an EDAHABIA card from Algerie Poste or a CIB bank card, through the Chargily payment gateway. No foreign currency card is needed.
Can I use the audio commercially?
Yes. You own what you generate and may use it in ads, videos, apps and IVR systems, within the acceptable use policy.
Can I clone someone else's voice?
No. The service ships a fixed set of reference voices. Uploading a recording of someone else to imitate them is not supported and is prohibited by the acceptable use policy.
