Cookie policy
Last updated 14 September 2026. Applies to natiq.studio.
natiq.studio sets a small number of cookies, all of them needed to run the service. There are no advertising cookies and no third party analytics on this site.
Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| sessionid | Keeps you signed in between pages. Without it you would log in on every request. | 14 days |
| csrftoken | Proves that a form or a request came from this site and not from another page in your browser. | 1 year |
| dz_did | Identifies the browser so the one free token grant per device can be enforced. It holds a random identifier, no personal data. | 2 years |
All three are set by this site and read by this site only. The session and device cookies are HttpOnly, so page scripts cannot read them, and all three are sent with the SameSite=Lax rule so they do not travel to other sites.
Browser storage
Two values are kept in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. They are never sent automatically with requests.
| Key | Purpose |
|---|---|
| dz_theme | Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme. |
| dz_device_fp | Caches the device signature described in the privacy policy, so it does not have to be recomputed on every visit. |
Why there is no cookie banner
Every item above is strictly necessary to deliver the service you asked for, or to protect it from abuse. None of them tracks you across other websites, so no consent banner is required.
Refusing them
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking
sessionid or csrftoken will stop you
from signing in or submitting forms. Blocking dz_did does not break
the site, though the free token grant may be refused if the device cannot be recognised.
Payment pages
When you pay, you are sent to Chargily, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. We have no control over those.
